The overall finish has turned to an even gun metal blue-gray patina, but the mechanics are correct. When you pull the grips off, you find an old custom hammer spring and leather buffer pad. When viewed from the rear, the hammer has slightly beveled edges. There is more wear on the right side of the trigger guard than on the left - certainly a right handed shooter. The trigger pull is very light and crisp. The front sight has obviously been filed on the sides to give a bead silhouette when sighting. When you pick up the gun and look a little closer, you begin to notice a few things.
